Boarding/Bathing

ABOUT US

Our staff has a motto…“treat all boarding pets like members of our own family!” All of our boarding policies directly benefit the safety & well being of your pet. We will follow your feeding instructions and care for your pet to the best of our ability. A Board Certified Veterinarian supervises our climate-controlled kennel.

FOR THE HEALTH OF ALL OUR GUESTS

If your pet shows any signs of contagious disease upon entry (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing or sneezing), your pet will be isolated from the other boarders and treated appropriately. Hospitalization charges will be assessed until your pet is deemed healthy enough to be kept with other boarded pets.

VACCINATIONS

All vaccines must be current. To ensure all our guests are protected there is no exception to this policy. There are certain vaccinations (Bordetella) that are repeated semi-annually to ensure that your dog is fully protected. Proof of vaccine status is required upon drop-off. If status cannot be confirmed, by the vaccinating hospital, we will be happy to bring your pet up to date.

BATHING

All pets are weighted & inspected upon entry for fleas & ticks. An entry bath will be given if any are found. If your pet boards with us more than one night, a bath the day of departure is required. Your dog is exercised outside several times a day & this way we can ensure we return your pet clean and smelling great! Your dog will be bathed every two weeks if it stays with us for an extended period of time. Baths include nail trim, ear cleaning and anal gland expression.

FOOD/SUPPLIES

We supply your pet with food/water bowls & and provide your pet with sanitized bedding for their comfort. You are welcome to bring your pets’ food or we will feed Hill’s Science Diet.

NURSING CARE

If your pet requires medications during its stay, make sure you bring it with you.  Please remember  Boarding is not the same level of care as Hospitalization.  There is an additional  Nursing Care fee if your pet requires medication or special medical care while Boarding.  Please give us a call if your pet  requires special services during its stay with us.
